We’re all being taught how to present ourselves in our businesses…

How to craft our visual identity. How to shape our brand voice.

Even if we never signed up for a course.

If you’ve ever shopped for website templates, searched stock photos, been on social media…you’ve been shown the textbook.

Over and over.

We’re bombarded with visual language that we read and, therefore, study. Consciously or not.

The textbook Lessons & themes are:

Ch 1. Be thin, white and beautiful.

Ch 2. Look wealthy.

Ch 3. Be “aspirational”.

Ch 4. Wear the “right” clothes.

Ch 5. Have the “right” look.

Ch 6. Be the “cool” girl.

Ch 7. Be the “hot” girl.

Ch 8. Be the “magical” girl….

These “unique”, “personal” themes also have fonts and graphics to match too. You can buy them in a package. They’re for sale in products like the “1-Click Brand Maker Kit”. (Oh how I wish that name wasn’t real.)

We deserve so much better than this.
It doesn’t do anyone justice.

It’s small.

It’s unimaginative.

It’s shallow.

It turns our wholeness into flattened out caricatures.

We’re drowning in it.

(Even when we’re succeeding at it).

It’s “Standard Brand Design”. Like shopping in malls full of mass produced fashion that someone in a board room chose for us.

We choose from those racks because it seems the only option.

It’s normalized.

It is “made for us” and it also isn’t.

We’re meant to remain consumers in this scenario - not creators.

And, Take it from this fat chick, many of us don’t fit in to these templates at all.

(Hint: that’s by standard Brand design too.)

So, what now?

Where do you shop for brand style when you don’t fit in to what’s selling on Template Road?

Where can you learn about visual communication that’s different than what we’re shown?

What if you can’t make your own images or Afford to hire a graphic artist?

If the stock photos available don’t speak to you, how will they ever speak for you?

Where else do you go?

The answer is right here.

Wild Heart Art Studio.

The place that teaches you to speak in visuals so your business is always dressed in it’s signature style.

I trained for this in art school.

It’s a slightly different place than the design department.

The art studio…art…holds space for possibility.

It gives room to explore, experiment and go beyond what’s conventional.

Art is where your deep, true, natural expression can surprise you.

Where your voice can rise up.

It’s a room where all of you can show up.

It’s where the fullness of what you’re offering can be uncovered and discovered.

It’s where you guide the expression.

Your wild heart can play and make a “mess” with your visual ideas.

When you’re not following Standard Brand Design things open up.

and…

I’m there in the studio with you to help shape it all up so it works for you.

we co-create & curate a brand “capsule wardrobe” of images For you.

images that won’t feel like scratchy suntan pantyhose you had to wear to your second grade chorale show.

Let me explain in more practical terms.

IN WILD HEART ART STUDIO, my skill in conceptual art helps me guide you.

The term “conceptual art” merely refers to taking a concept, an idea and expressing it in visual form.

For instance, to show wind, one could draw a picture of a vintage fan or take a photo of trees swaying. They could also find a picture of a windsock near an airstrip. Each option tells a unique story.

When these images are combined with other images, text, and icons on various textured backgrounds, the story becomes more personal. Richer.

In the context of your brand, We want to speak in images, lines, and textures that express your unique vibe.

This will help your clients feel you. Get you.

We also wnat to speak in repetition and rhythm so they can always spot you in the crowd.

In art led processes, you begin with gathering ideas, experimenting and sketching to conceive your brand image and learn how to create it. Speak it.

When you begin to refine your images, design assists in ensuring, for example. that your fonts are easy to read. It helps make sure the practical elements of your images are functional.

You can’t sell this in a template.

you Get personally Branded signature style in a range of graphic elements.

Then You mix and match to create different and cohesive looks for your business.

This gives you the template ease you’re looking for with imagery that fits you. Is you.

You’ll also learn basic art & design skills, explore image making techniques and have fun building confidence so you can speak visually to your clients.

We’ll hone in on what your people need to know most about your products and services and leverage that to create unique brand art.

We’ll work together in the studio to co-design you brand wardrobe. Some pieces we’ll buy, some you’ll make, some I’ll make for you.

You’ll come away with distinctive images and understand what works and why so you can DIY some more.

This art based process reimagines what online visual culture can look like.

When we don't use Standard Brand Design, we rewrite the textbook on doing business. That opens up possibilities for more. Different. Better.

Art is power.

You are powerful too.

This is what you deserve.

Art fits you because you are the creator
